Background
The owner of Rolling Plains Title of Texas (RPTT) had bought a two-county operation in remote North Texas. He knew the title plant side of the business was outdated and paid us to convert his two county plants from a competitor based on a strong referral from another IIX client.
RPTT is in a sparsely populated part of the state. Finding qualified individuals to help develop a title agency is very difficult. In addition to our title plant product, we provided data entry and cloud storage solutions that fit his budget and alleviated the need to hire and relocate capable employees.
As the relationship grew, so did RPTT. IIX now consult on how best to work with local county officials to create new plants for the expanding title agency footprint.
Takeaways
The owner was essentially starting fresh with this purchase. Based on a referral, he connected with our office and began the discussion about how we could help him get the agency on more solid footing. We always welcome that conversation. Our experience and client rapport gives us an edge in explaining the horizon to growth and security when it comes to building out a plan for a better title production environment for a local agency.
We easily converted existing plants, implemented hosting, keying, and posting efforts since capable hires are hard to find given his location. The owner leaned into the relationship and trusted us to deliver.
As he has grown the business, he is now expanding into new counties. These counties are rural and are not tech-forward. We have come alongside the process and given him some creative solutions to build these new plants.
